The End of the Year…

Yes, this post also serves as December News 2020.

This tiresome, unusually long year is finally coming to its end.

No, I don’t know for sure that the next one is going to be better. It could be much worse, for all I know. It’s always possible for things to get worse.

Or better. I choose to hope it’s going to be better.

Current mood? I’m not sure. This one comes to mind, even though it’s not how I feel.

Or maybe this one? Because of the sentiment? Perhaps…

Perhaps.

Some things happened this year. Some wonderful people died. I did some things. I couldn’t do some other things.

And it all felt like it would never end.

It still feels that way, no matter what the calendar says.

But, hey, two of my works (a radio play and a short story collection) god published again (electronically), so not everything is bad. Some of my friends published books, and that’s good, too.

And other than that? Reading, watching?

Currently reading: I’m Traveling Alone by Samuel Bjørk. A Scandinavian thriller. Good so far, but I’m still at the beginning; a little girl was found dead, obviously murdered, and it looks like two very troubled people will be investigating the case. Talented, competent, but troubled.

Currently watching: The Stand. The new series (the new adaptation, that is). It looks good so far. Not perfect, and if you’ve neither read the book nor watched the old series, the numerous flashbacks and jumping back and forth in time might make it difficult to watch. So, it might be a good idea to read the book first.

Do read it, if you haven’t done it already. The Stand by Stephen King. It’s a good book.

Currently working on: err, during the holidays? There was more work than usual in December, but right now, I’m not really working on anything other than getting some rest. I might work on my blogs in a few days, but right now, it’s resting, and eating, and watching, and reading…

And hoping for a better year ahead of us.

So… Happy New Year, everyone!
