Autumn is here, COVID-19 doesn’t seem to be going anywhere… Boring. Depressing. I mean, autumn is fine, but the darn coronavirus isn’t, especially when there are so many unreasonable people around.
Which means that I’m doing the same old, same old: reading, watching stuff, working, avoiding people, waiting for the whole thing to be over, feeling like climbing and climbing and climbing stairs that lead nowhere… Yawn.
Currently reading: Foundation and Empire by Isaac Asimov. I’ve read it before, of course (over thirty years ago), but we had Foundation for our book club because of the series, so I’m re-reading the trilogy. I’m noticing different things than the ones I’ve noticed as a kid, but I still like it.
Recently read: Foundation by Isaac Asimov. Of course.
Currently watching: Foundation, when the new episodes come out. It seems I won’t be binge-watching this one; we’re both too impatient for that. For the time being, it’s interesting; they’ve changed a lot, so I’m curious to see where they’re going with it.
Recently watched: Lucifer, seasons 3-6. Yes, all of it. And felt a bit dizzy after that. Still feeling a bit dizzy. And I’m kinda sorry that it’s over; I’m going to miss them all. Of course, that’s much better than continuing the series for no good reason and with no good ideas; the ending here was fine.
Currently working on: work, when there’s any. Sometimes there’s plenty, sometimes next to nothing… Meaning, business as usual. With an occasional weirdo, like a guy who wanted a book blurb for, basically, an empty notebook. And yes, I did manage to write it.
Well, that would be it, so, see you next time!
