Friday Fun: Meet Tard, the Grumpy Cat

Last year brought some interesting cats to my attention, and one of them is The Grumpy Cat. It’s a girl cat, and she became famous because of her seemingly grumpy face (apparently, she’s not really grumpy, she likes to cuddle, she’s friendly, it’s just her face (possibly malocclusion) giving her the look).

The Grumpy Cat, or Tartar Sauce, or Tard, has her own website, her own Tumblr, a Twitter account, a Facebook fan page, a YouTube account… And you can see her face all over the Internet in various memes. From her website you can learn that she’s not really grumpy, and also that her small body is a mutation — fortunately, a mutation giving a very stable and healthy cat, so she’s just fine. And adorable. As you can see on the pictures.
